The Arianna String Quartet (ASQ) will perform An Evening with Johannes Brahms – a gala concert of Brahms’ Piano Quartets – on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Touhill Performing Arts Center. The 8 p.m. concert is in the E. Desmond & Mary Ann Lee Theater.

The ASQ has traditionally presented a grand-scope evening of music as one of its St. Louis concerts. Renowned pianist Timothy Hester from the University of Houston will join the Arianna for this year’s gala concert of the Brahms’ complete piano quartets.
