SSM DePaul Health Center, partnering with the Pattonville School District and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, is hosting its first-ever Safe Kids Halloween Party. on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 1 –4 p.m. at May Center at SSM DePaul Health Center, 12303 DePaul Drive.

This free event is appropriate for children ages 3 to 12, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 1-866-SSM-DOCS (776-3627).

Thursday, Oct. 31

Trick or Treat at The Bridge. The Bridge at Florissant, 1101 Garden Plaza Drive, is holding a Halloween party from 3 – 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The City of Florissant is holding a Halloween Party for ages 12 and under from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Eagan Center.

This event is co-sponsored by the Florissant Parks and Recreation Department and the Florissant Police Explorers Unit.

There will be refreshments, games and prizes. Costumes are encouraged. This free event is for Florissant residents only and a resident card is needed for admission. For more information, call 921-4466 or 921-4250.

The City of Hazelwood will hold “Halloween Happenings” from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Hazelwood Community Center in White Birch Park.

At this free event, children will receive a grab bag of goodies and the opportunity to play games and go on a hayride. A costume contest will begin at 7:20.

There will also be a coloring contest for children in grades K – 5. Coloring pages can be picked up at the Hazelwood Community Center, Civic Center East or downloaded from the city’s website.
