I-270’s Future discussed at July 30 meeting

Public Feedback Sought at Meeting on I-270 North

The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting an open house style public meeting to start the next phase of planning for I-270 in North St. Louis County. The meeting is Tuesday, July 30,  from 4  to 7 p.m. in the Student Multi-Purpose Center at St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley, 3400 Pershall Road, St. Louis.

The meeting is part of the I-270 North Environmental Assessment, the next step in addressing congestion, safety and aging infrastructure on I-270, between I-70 and the Chain of Rocks Bridge. During the 18-month study, MoDOT planners and engineers will work with the community to identify possible solutions to enhance safety and travel along this corridor.

The public should attend to learn about the study and share their experiences and issues about traveling on I-270. There are no scheduled presentations, so the public may attend anytime during the meeting.
