The seven-shows are: <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em>, The Muny\u2019s Production of Disney and Cameron Macintosh\u2019s <em>Mary Poppins, Nunsense\u2013Muny Style!,<\/em> The Muny\u2019s Production of Dreamworks Theatricals <em>Shrek\u2013The Musical, South Pacific, Monty Python\u2019s Spamalot<\/em> and <em>West Side Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Final show order and performance dates will be announced at a later time. Season ticket renewal notices will be mailed out the last week of November. New season tickets will be available beginning Saturday, March 9 at the Muny box office in Forest Park, with Single tickets going on sale June 1, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter if you are a long-time Muny veteran or someone new to St. Louis, there has never been a better time to become a Muny season ticket holder,\u201d remarked President and CEO Denny Reagan. \u201cThe 2013 season has something for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are seven big, bold shows,\u201d commented Executive Producer Mike Isaacson. \u201cWe\u2019ve already begun finding ways to make them particularly joyous, exciting and moving for our Muny audience. If I learned anything last summer, it\u2019s go big or go home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last seen at The Muny in 2007, <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em> has been one of the most popular musicals since it opened in London in 1985. With its glorious scenery, grand theatrics and epic Victor Hugo story, <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em> is sure to thrill the Muny audience.<\/p>\n<p>Making its Muny premiere, The Muny Production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh\u2019s <em>Mary Poppins<\/em> has captivated audiences for generations, and now the irresistible story, songs and\u00a0 dance numbers will dazzle and delight Muny audiences.<\/p>\n<p>The Muny will usher in the debut of the 30th anniversary all-Muny edition of <em>Nunsense\u2013Muny Style<\/em>! Making its Muny debut, this divine comedy follows the Little Sisters of Hoboken, members of a spirited and inspired convent, in their effort to raise money to bury members of their order \u2013 victims of an unfortunate \u201cincident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Muny\u2019s Production of Dreamworks Theatricals <em>Shrek\u2013The Musical<\/em> will make its Muny premiere. This is the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who went on an adventure with his best friend, a very talkative donkey. Along the way, he fought a fearsome dragon, rescued a feisty princess, and learned that real friendship and true love aren\u2019t only found in fairytales.<\/p>\n<p>Last seen at The Muny in 2003, <em>South Pacific<\/em> returns to The Muny for its 10th production. As haunting and evocative as Bali Hai itself, <em>South Pacific<\/em> remains Rodgers and Hammerstein\u2019s most eloquent musical drama, and their most deeply felt musical romance. The masterful and lyrical tells the\u00a0 love story between Army nurse Nellie Forbush and the mysterious French planter, Emile deBecque.<\/p>\n<p>Based on \u201cMonty Python and the Holy Grail,\u201d <em>Spamalot<\/em> is a new musical with a book by Eric Idle and score by John DuPrez. Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and featuring a bevy of beautiful showgirls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people.<\/p>\n<p>Last seen at The Muny in 2005, <em>West Side Story<\/em> exploded the boundaries of what a musical could be, one the greatest love story of all time remains as powerful and timely as ever.
