The City of Florissant Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) office provides no-interest loans of up to $5,000 to a limited number of low-to-moderate income Florissant homeowners who qualify. The loans can only be used for home repair and to address code violations.<\/p>\n
Applications for the program will be available starting April 2, 2012 and COMPLETED applications will be accepted Tuesday, May 1, 2012 thru Thursday, May 31, 2012.\u00a0 The applications are reviewed by the Community Development Office and priority is given to low-income households. If funds remain after eligible low-income applications are met, candidates from moderate-income housing will be considered. All applicants will be notified of their status within 6 to 8 weeks.<\/p>\n
