Mayor Thomas P. Schneider has announced that the Florissant Civic Center Theatre has been nominated as one of the best family attractions of 2011 in St. Louis Sprout & About’s “Sprout Seven” awards.<\/p>\n
The St. Louis Family Theatre performing at the Florissant Civic Center was nominated in the “Bravo!” category.\u00a0 To be nominated is quite an honor, but to win the award would be even more significant.<\/p>\n
The St. Louis Family Theatre is sponsored by the Arts & Education Council of Greater St. Louis, the City of Florissant, the Florissant Fine Arts Council, the Junior League of St. Louis, the Regional Arts Council, the Missouri Arts Council and the American Eagle Credit Union. The group presents five productions each year at the Florissant Civic Center Theatre.<\/p>\n
