CITY OF FLORISSANT RESIDENTS:\u00a0 Make new friends or bring a friend to the Florissant Senior Dining Center at 621 rue St. Francois.\u00a0 Every day, Monday through Thursday, a catered meal for $3.50 is served at 12:00 noon. Every Friday, we feature \u201cFive Dollar Fridays\u201d.\u00a0 Florissant Restaurants deliver their specialties for just $5.00.\u00a0 Call the Florissant Senior Dining Center at 839-7603 for more information.<\/p>\n

Mayor’s Town Hall Meeting Sept. 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

City of Florissant Senior Citizens:\u00a0 Mayor Thomas P. Schneider\u2019s First Senior Citizen Town Hall Meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 15, at 8:30 a.m. at the James J. Eagan Center.\u00a0 A free full breakfast will be provided by Life Care Centers of Florissant.\u00a0 There is no ticket necessary and no charge to attend.\u00a0 Call the Florissant Senior Office at 839-7604 for more information.<\/p>\n

North County Gala Sept. 16<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

The City of Florissant will host the North County Gala at the James J. Eagan Center on Sept. 16.\u00a0 The cities of Florissant, Bridgeton, Ferguson, Hazelwood and St. Ann will join together to provide North County Senior Citizens this fabulous dress-up event.\u00a0 The 18-piece orchestra, The Sentimental Journey Band will play for your dancing and listening pleasure.\u00a0 There will be appetizers and \u00a0attendance prizes.\u00a0 All the participating cities will have a limited number of tickets to sell.\u00a0 Tickets will be $15 each and are being sold now at all the participating<\/p>\n

Bingo Clubs<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The following Bingo clubs meet on the lower level of the James Eagan Center:<\/p>\n

Monday Club <\/strong>meets from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Bring a sandwich-coffee and tea are available.\u00a0 Interesting day trips to St. Louis Area locations are also scheduled.<\/p>\n

Tuesday Club <\/strong>meets from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Bring your lunch! Interesting day trips to St. Louis Area locations are also scheduled.<\/p>\n

Wednesday Club <\/strong>meets from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Bring a sandwich \u2013 coffee and tea available.\u00a0 Interesting day trips to St. Louis Area locations are also scheduled.<\/p>\n

Garden Villas North<\/strong> hosts Bingo at 4505 Parker Road, every Wednesday in April. Great prizes and refreshments\u00a0 Free to play.\u00a0 Reservations required.\u00a0 Call 314-355-6100.<\/p>\n

Card Clubs<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pinochile Club<\/strong> meets every Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m., at the JFK Center in Koch Park.<\/p>\n

Bridge Club<\/strong> meets every Friday, at 10:30 a.m., at the Eagan Center.<\/p>\n

Silver Words Club<\/strong><\/p>\n

Widows and widowers or divorced seniors\u00a0 meet once a month, every second Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. with a meeting, trip or a speaker at the John F. Kennedy Center in Koch Park.<\/p>\n

Line Dance Club<\/strong><\/p>\n

A free class meets every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Eagan Center. Great exercise while learning to line dance<\/p>\n
