The Ferguson-Florissant National Education Association Tuesday ratified the administration\u2019s offer of a 3.49 percent pool increase for the 2011-12 school year.
\nAdministrators will recommend that the Board of Education approve the offer at its April 13 meeting.
\n\u201cIn these trying times, it feels good to be able to reward employees for the invaluable work they do,\u201d said Board President Les Lentz. \u201cWe want them to know how much they are appreciated.\u201d
\nThe recommendation is the result of weeks of talks between Ferguson-Florissant\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 administrators and the NEA\u2019s negotiation team.
\n\u201cWe appreciate the time NEA members and administrators invested in this process and are pleased to have been able to work so well together,\u201d Lentz said.
