Hazelwood\u2019s Street Maintenance Department has begun its annual collection of tree limbs and shrubbery trimmings.\u00a0 This year\u2019s schedule is set up for one pick-up for each street within the city limits.\u00a0 Residents can find the schedule on the City\u2019s website at www.hazelwoodmo.org or in the Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division\u2019s Winter\/Spring 2011 Activity Guide.<\/p>\n
Residents need to stack their trimmings at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday morning of their designated pick-up week. Branches should not be cut into short pieces. There is to be no wire, metal, trash, garden waste or other debris in the brush that is to be chipped. This could cause serious injury to the crew and damage the chipper machinery. No stumps or limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter will be taken by the City.<\/p>\n
