Soroptimist International of Greater St. Louis is seeking applicants for its Women’s Opportunity Award.<\/p>\n
To be eligible, women must be head of their household with primary financial responsibility for supporting their family, attend or have been accepted to an undergraduate degree program, have financial need, and reside in the St. Louis\/ St. Louis County Metropolitan area.<\/p>\n
The $750 award may be used to offset expenses associated with the effort to attain higher education, including tuition, books, childcare, carfare or any other education-related expense.<\/p>\n
Applications are available by calling Mitch Hannekan at 832-0289 or Grace Zykan at 837-3320. The deadline for application submission is Dec. 15, 2010. Incomplete applications will not be considered.<\/p>\n
