What a great two week span for the St. Louis Rams. I am getting my playoff tickets ready along with\u00a0 Super Bowl tickets. The Rams went from the bottom of the barrel at zero and two, to a tie for first place, with a 2-2 record. This week the Rams travel to Detroit to play the 0-4 Lions,\u00a0 definitely a team that can beat anybody at any time.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 0-4 the Lions are a\u00a0 very\u00a0 hungry football team and this game really scares me, even though it is or should be an easy win for this Rams team. I am going to say that the Lions will not go 0-5 and they will win this week.<\/p>\n

Watching the Rams game on Sunday was like watching the Rams of old. The team played very well and most of all the fans were into the game. It made it very exciting for everybody.<\/p>\n

It’s great to see this team<\/p>\n

play well and the fans respond.<\/p>\n

There is nothing worse than<\/p>\n

going to the Dome and watch<\/p>\n

everyone sit on their hands<\/p>\n

and just wait for the team to make the big mistake that they have done so much of over the past 3 or 4 years.<\/p>\n

Even though Stephen Jackson was hurt, he played and I think that shows the commitment this team has towards winning. This all goes back to that number one pick, Sam Bradford. He makes great decisions and he can only get better. I said probably 8-8 on the year and I will stick by that even though as I said earlier, this week will probably be a loss. Rams lose by 10 this week.<\/p>\n

Son’s First Game Was an Emotional High<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank goodness that the St. Louis Cardinals baseball season has come to an end. I had a chance on the last Monday night of the season to take my boy to his first baseball game at the new stadium.<\/p>\n

We set so high, actually three rows from the top. He was scared to death, as we walked up to our seats.\u00a0 I told them the benefits about the seats are that you can see everything on the field, every thing in the stands, along with half of the St. Louis area by just taking two steps up and looking over the edge.<\/p>\n

His response was, dad, “I want to sit down there where I can actually see the players” . My response was, I would have to take out a small loan for those seats\u2014 that’s why we spent those 5 minutes before the game started standing behind the dugout.<\/p>\n

Although we sat up high, we had a great time and what a great experience for me to share with my child. Hopefully it will be something that he will remember for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n

I am very curious to see what what happens with Tony LaRussa, if he will come back or if he will go elsewhere. I think he will be back as he doesn’t want to leave with a bad taste in his mouth with a non playoff season in Cardinal Nation. Mark my words, Albert will be back with a huge hefty, 5-plus year deal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
