Lowery, Sr. has announced that the Missouri Department of Transportation will be unveiling four signs along interstate I-270 referencing the &#8220;Downtown Florissant St. Ferdinand Central Historic District. An unveiling ceremony will be held today (Thursday, July 29) at 1 p.m. at Florissant City Hall.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am excited to promote, once again, Florissant\u2019s historic district,&#8221; Mayor Lowery said in a statement,\u00a0 These signs along I-270 will certainly draw more visitors in to our beautiful city and take advantage of not only Florissant\u2019s historic district but all that out city has to offer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lowery thnaked the representatives of the Missouri Department of Transportation, District Engineer Ed Hassinger, and North St. Louis Area Engineer\u00a0 Larry Welty for the city \u00a0with the installation of these historic signs.<\/p>\n<p>The Public Works Department, Engineering Division, is responsible for assuring the quality of bridge replacement projects through design and construction.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with questions regarding the city\u2019s coordination with the Missouri Department of Transportation\u2019s infrastructure projects may \u00a0contact Mayor Lowery at city hall, phone 314-839-7601.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mayor Robert G.
