Students may be nominated for the program by their school counselors, teachers, administrators or parents.<\/p>\n<p>Gateway Young Achiever students received certificates of achievement and 30 of them also received medallions and $25 for outstanding accomplishments. One of those medallion winners is Sarah Jackson, a seventh grader at Hazelwood Central Middle School.<\/p>\n<p>To participate, students need parental consent, a complete r\u00e9sum\u00e9 of achievements and photographs for a display highlighting their accomplishments.
