This past weekend I had a chance to do what some people say is\u00a0 relaxing, but\u00a0 for me, it was nothing more than frustration,\u00a0 It’s\u00a0 called Trout Fishing.<\/p>\n

I stood on the banks with hundreds of other people trying to\u00a0\u00a0 catch that one fish we would have for dinner. Like many, I was\u00a0 unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

I spent two hours of my life doing something that I\u00a0\u00a0 could’ve purchased at the store. I saw people with 5 or 6 maybe\u00a0\u00a0 even 10 different poles and hundreds of different kinds of bait trying to catch\u00a0\u00a0 that allusive fish.<\/p>\n

All I need is a hot dog, that\u00a0usually works for me. It’s big\u00a0business though, as people\u00a0get up bright and early\u00a0before the sun even comes\u00a0up to go catch that one single fish. I’m not sure what the fascination is all about but it must be something that I am just missing because\u00a0 anywhere you go on any weekend to any state park\u00a0\u00a0 there are\u00a0 kids, women, men, adults, grandpa’s and grandma’s out\u00a0\u00a0 trying to catch that elusive fish or to have a story to tell around the campfire.<\/p>\n

Pew Wee Baseball a Close 2nd<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now maybe onto the second most frustrating thing in life and that\u00a0 would be peewee baseball. As I sit and watch my child play every weekend, I have dreams of him making it to the major leagues. But as I sit\u00a0\u00a0 and watch him pull up grass in the outfield and throw dirt at other kids in the infield.<\/p>\n

I’m\u00a0 not sure what’s going to happen, but then it happens, the pitch comes in\u00a0 and he hits it any runs to first base and the dreams are back alive, until he rounds first, runs to third and then back to first and then to home plate to hit again. We just can’t get this game figured out as coaches.<\/p>\n

All in all though, it is a lot of fun and the kids will grow into the game. Remember it hopefully could be a vehicle for many of children in the world to go to college on, athletic scholarships.<\/p>\n

Tiger Proofs He’s Human on the Links<\/strong><\/p>\n

I really thought that Tiger Woods could put his troubles behind him and concentrate on golf. I really think that we are seeing that he is human. He hasn\u2019t qualified the last two weekend for the tour and has had a neck injury that is bothering him.<\/p>\n

I think that this shows every one that no matter how good you are at something, you have to keep yourself on the up and up to stay at the top of your game. He will be back though\u2014 all of the great ones return. He needs to take a year or two off and get himself totally back together. No matter what problems he has had, he has been great for the game of golf.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
