A robbery and shooting case that was nearly two decades old has been cleared, Florissant\u2019s Police Chief, William Karabas announced on April 2, 2010.<\/p>\n
Larry Richard Caudle, a 36-year-old white male, was formally charged in warrants in connection with the case on March 31, 2010. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney charged the alleged assailant with First Degree Robbery, First Degree Assault and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.<\/p>\n
This case dates back to Dec. 8, 1992 when a gunmen held two Dairy Queen employees at gunpoint. Subsequently after shooting a 17-year-old male employee and leaving him a permanent paraplegic the gunman fled the store.<\/p>\n
His direction of travel or means of escape was unknown.\u00a0 The case remained unsolved until the Florissant Police department received recent information and developed evidence that led to the identity of the gunman who has been living in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n
Based on the new information, two Florissant detectives traveled to Los Angeles last week and working with the L.A. Police Department arrested Caudle and charged him with the crimes. His bond is set at $500,000.<\/p>\n
Caudle is being held in Los Angeles pending his extradition to Missouri to face the charges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
