The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) in collaboration with the National Board for Certification of School Nurses (NBCSN) granted certification to Kathleen Gutmann, Townsend Elementary School; Janine Grasaglio, Hazelwood East High School; Diane Brooks, Hazelwood East Early Childhood Education; and Christine Chapman, Russell Elementary School.<\/p>\n
Gutmann, has worked at Townsend for six years.<\/p>\n
Grasaglio decided that national certification was a personal challenge, and after earning her bachelor of science in nursing in 2008, she was eligible. She joined HSD in 1996, moved away, and in 2000, she returned to work at Barrington Elementary before working at HEHS.<\/p>\n
Brooks has been a nurse with early childhood education for 10 years.<\/p>\n
