5th Annual Chain of Rocks 6K March 22<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Supports Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The 5th Annual Chain of Rocks 6K will be held on Sunday, March 22 t 9:00 a.m. The event brings together running clubs, competitive runners, and casual walkers from across the region for a unique and scenic race. This year the even t honors 100 years of Route 66 by handing out special medals to every finisher.<\/p>\n

This unique road race features the historic Route 66 and Chain of Rocks Bridge. The race starts at and finishes at 4205-4207 Chain of Rocks Rd, Granite City, IL 62040.<\/p>\n

Over the past three years, the event has successfully raised $24,000 to support St. Louis city middle school cross country runners and the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation. This year, Spewak Racing is proud to again pledge $6,000 to the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation, furthering its commitment to youth athletics and community engagement.<\/p>\n
