Saint Louis County Human Services, in partnership with the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, the city of St. Louis, St. Clair
\nCounty, and St. Charles County, is proud to host the St. Louis Regional Hiring Fair on
\nThursday, January 9, at Northwest Plaza.
\nThe free event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is a regional effort to connect displaced workers, including those affected by recent layoffs by Boeing, with over 30
\nemployers actively seeking new talent. Free parking is available. Participating industries include aerospace, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, utilities,
\ncustomer service, and more. Notable employers include Saint Louis County Government, Ameren, Craftsmen Industries, Serioplast, Oracle, and Procter &
\nGamble, among others.
\nAttendees will also have access to resources my.\u201d provided by SLATE staff and the Missouri Job Center, including employment and training opportunities. Those
\ninterested in enhancing their resumes are encouraged to take advantage of SLATE\u2019s resume-building services prior to the event.
