\n\u2022 St. Louis County, in partnership with the Salvation Army, is operating a Cooling Shelter, at 10740 Page Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63132. The cooling shelter can accommodate up to 30 people at a time and provides hot meals, laundry facilities and case management services. Please call United Way 211 to access the Cooling Shelter or contact the Salvation Army-Family Haven at 314-423-7770 for more information. The shelter is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
\nAnother option for residents is the Loaves and Fishes Overflow Emergency Shelter, open now. Call 314-279-7036. Walk-ins are welcome.
\n\u2022 St. Louis County Parks is offering free indoor walking at The Pavilion at Lemay and North County Recreation Complex during regular operating hours through Friday, Aug. 25.
