Metro Theater Presents \u2018Go Dog Go\u2019 in April<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Metro Theater Company (MTC), St. Louis\u2019 premier professional theater for youth and families and St. Louis\u2019 third-oldest professional theater company, winds down its 22\/23 50th<\/sup> Anniversary Season with \u201cGo, Dog. Go!,\u201d adapted from P.D. Eastman\u2019s classic children\u2019s book.<\/p>\n

MTC presents Go, Dog. Go! live at The Big Top in the Grand Center Arts District<\/p>\n

April 2-16, 2023. A virtual streaming option is also available April 10-23 at metroplays.org. Tickets are $20-$36 and available through MetroTix.<\/p>\n

It’s a dog party and all of St. Louis is invited. P.D. Eastman\u2019s classic children\u2019s bookcomesto life at the Big Top! Yellow Dog, Blue Dog, Red Dog and dogs of all colors, shapes, and sizes live in a magical world where dogs are king. See them work, play, eat, sing, dance, play musical instruments, swim, skate, ride bikes, drive cars, and go for a boat ride. They howl at the moon. They ride a Ferris wheel. with a big party in a tree. It\u2019s like a pop-up book that comes to life \u2013 and never stops.<\/p>\n

In celebration of Metro Theater Company\u2019s 50th anniversary, Go, Dog. Go! at The Big Top harkens back to MTC\u2019s beginnings as Metro Theater Circus, taking audiences of all ages into a musical world of doggy fun and reviving one of the most popular plays MTC produced in the last 20 years. This dynamic theatrical adaptation of the beloved book combines music, movement, and rhythmic language into a colorful kaleidoscope of very busy dogs.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo, Dog. Go!\u201d is best enjoyed by ages 3 and up. The approximate run time is 75 minutes with no intermission.<\/p>\n
