LEAGUE OFFERS VOTE VOTERS GUIDE FOR APRIL 4 ELECTION,<\/b><\/h1>\n

Voters can cast Absentee Ballot without Excuse<\/b><\/h1>\n

<\/h1>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis has just released an online guide to help voters cast an informed ballot in the April 4 municipal election. \u201cIt\u2019s even more important to vote in local elections since city leaders and school board members have even more impact on our everyday lives than legislators,\u201d says Angie Dunlap, President of the League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis. \u201cVoters can go to VOTE411.org online to learn about the candidates, ballot measures and changes in Missouri\u2019s voting laws.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The League contacted more than 700 candidates running for school board, city council, mayor and other local offices in five counties. The Voters Guide to be published in the March 19 St. Louis Post-Dispatch <\/i>will include summaries of more than 100 local ballot issues, including many to collect a 3 percent sales tax on recreational marijuana sales. Volunteers will deliver 8,000 copies of the print Voters Guide to more than 90 sites in the Metro area.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The following sites will open for no-excuse, in-person absentee voting starting on Tuesday, March 21. Voters must bring a state-issued photo ID that has not expired or expired after Nov. 8, 2022.<\/p>\n

St. Louis City<\/b>:\u00a0Board of Elections, 300 N. Tucker; Buder Library, 4401 Hampton Ave.; Schlafly Library, 225 N. Euclid Ave., and Walnut Park Library, 5760 W. Florissant Ave.<\/p>\n

St. Louis County<\/b>: Board of Elections, 725 Northwest Plaza Drive in St. Ann; North County Recreation Complex, 2577 Redman Road; Ballwin Police Department, 300 Park Drive in Ballwin; Affton White-Rodgers Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road.<\/p>\n

St. Charles<\/b>: County Clerk, 397 Turner Blvd. in St. Peters, or Element Church, 100 Mall Parkway, Suite 500 in Wentzville.<\/p>\n
