Spring cleaning time is upon us and most of us have way too much clutter! Get organized while helping others by dropping off unwanted everyday items to Leftovers,etc., located at 2065 Walton Road in Overland, MO. 63114. This 5,000 sq. ft. resource center houses clean\/dry household and industrial discards and recyclables donated by individuals and businesses in the Metro.
\nTechnically, Leftovers, etc. is a \u201crecycle\/reuse\/repurpose not-for-profit organization\u201d with a customer base of 45,000+ local educators representing public and private schools, Parents as Teachers, early childhood centers within the school systems, homeschool educators, universities, not-for-profit organizations working with under-privileged, at-risk and developmentally disabled children and adults, churches, Scouting groups, independent early childhood centers, occupational and physical therapists, government offices and the public.<\/p>\n
In addition to being a resource center, Leftovers, etc. is a learning center which provides many different workshops, classes, school trips, and even offers birthday parties, DIY, and donation drives.\u00a0 Leftovers, etc. offers supplies that \u201cspark a child\u2019s imagination, stretches their thinking process and teaches them that you do not have to spend a ton of money for things for them to do,\u201d according to the site.\u00a0 Other clientele include the Magic House, Science Center, Backstoppers, Center for Head Injury Services, St. Louis County Library Branches, Disabled American Veterans, Lutheran Family Services, Education Plus, Ronald McDonald House, YMCAs, St. Louis Arc and St. Louis Crisis Nursery.
\nThere is also a performing arts program with classes in Ballet, Tap, and even Country Line dancing, to name a few. This program will soon be expanded to include Mommy and Me classes.

Program Offerings:
\n\u2022 Teacher Appreciation Days: Leftovers is offering a half-price sale the first Saturday of every month for all teachers; public and private schools, daycares and home school parents.
\n\u2022 Veterans Children\u2019s Program \u2013 Free school supplies year-round for all children of our Veterans, in cooperation with The Kaufman Fund. All families need to be registered for this program.
\n\u2022 Donation Drive for New School Supplies: We are holding a donation drive for NEW school supplies. Bring in new school supplies for our Veterans Children\u2019s Program and receive a voucher for $5.00 off your next purchase.
\n\u2022 Back to School Supply Packs: pre-packaged back-to-school supply packs for $5.00 that includes a binder, 2-3 folders, ruler, scissors, slightly used crayons and loose paper.
