The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close New Florissant Road in both directions at I-270, reduce eastbound and westbound I-270 traffic to one lane over Route N, and close the entrance ramp from Hanley Road to eastbound I-270 beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.<\/p>\n<p>The lane closures will safely allow the partial demolition of the existing I-270 bridge over New Florissant Road and prepare for work on building the new I-270 bridge over New Florissant Road.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers should anticipate major delays on I-270 in North St. Louis County on Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, Feb. 13. MoDOT anticipates all lanes reopening by 5 a.m. Monday, Feb.14. All work is weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p>Detours for New Florissant Road are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Southbound traffic<\/strong> will bypass construction by traveling west on Dunn Road to travel south on Hanley Avenue\/Graham Road, to travel east on Pershall Road back to New Florissant Road<\/p>\n<p><strong>Northbound traffic<\/strong> will bypass construction by taking Pershall Road east to Washington Street\/Elizabeth Avenue, to travel north on Washington Street\/Elizabeth Avenue, to travel west on Dunn Road back to New Florissant Road<\/p>\n<p>To stay updated on the status of this closure and to view a project overview and graphic displays of planned construction, visit the<\/p>\n<p>I-270 North Project website at: www.i270north.org.
