It was scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Lower stated that was a very difficult decision to make, however, as the current COVID-19 pandemic situation continues and with the rise in cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel the event for this year to ensure the<\/p>\n<p>safety and well-being of everyone. Also current county restrictions don\u2019t allow for the size crowds that the Fall Festival usually draws along rue St. Francois.<\/p>\n<p>The current pandemic situation remains fluid.
