Tablescapes are unique and\ncreatively designed table settings and centerpieces. The \u201cGrandpa Gang\u201d has been at it again transforming Rock Springs Park in Alton, Ill. into a Winter Wonderland.\u00a0 Visitors can drive through the park to view more than 4 million lights, cascading waterfalls of lights, lighted trees, and displays, and visit Santa Claus in the Enchanted Forest. Christmas Wonderland is open the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 29) through late December. The suggested donation is $7 for cars and small vans or $1 per person for vehicles holding more than 10 people. This year\u2019s tour features unique\nhomes, including Victorian-era \u201cpainted ladies\u201d and two apartments in a\nbeautifully renovated historic building that once housed canvas awnings and\nmops. Visitors are also in for a musical treat; singers from Opera Theatre St.\nLouis will perform songs of the season at one of the tour homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day-long\ncelebration includes a Holiday Market in the Fountain Plaza on Park Avenue.\nTour-goers can also see Santa or ride in a horse-drawn carriage through\nLafayette Park.
