A CHRISTMAS RAP FOR 2019<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

(Put to the beat of Ice Cube\u2019s \u2018Good Day\u2019)<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Twas the Night Before\nChristmas, and you know the story, When the Fat Dude in Red slides the chimney\nfor the glory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            We tore up them charges this year,\nthat\u2019s for certain, Da bills comin\u2019 next month, we\u2019re in for a-hurtin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            But the crib was just still with the\nlittles in bed, With visions of pancakes filling their heads, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

             The Lady in her p.j\u2019s and me in my boxers Restin\u2019\nup for The Big Day tomorrow\u2026 oh wowsers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Seem like my eyes just be closin\u2019\nwhen I heard this loud BOOM, Shook the dang windows and rattled the room,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            I jumped out the bed, my ticker was\nthumpin\u2019, Looking out of the window I swear I saw sumpin\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Musta snowed up a storm, but the\nmoon now showed bright, And there stood this Dude by his ride in the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             \nSportin\u2019 a red suit with gold lame\u2019 trim And a natty fedora with a\nbright green brim.  He let out a whistle\nand his doggies came flyin\u2019, No, not just a-runnin\u2019 but for real, they was\nflyin\u2019,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Crazy big mongrels, at least eight\nof them came, And the chub dude in red yelled at each by their name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Yo Boxer, Yo Junkyard, Hey Butchie\nand Ruff, Yo Beastie, Yo Monster, Hey Tiny, hey Tuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Then, I swear, as sure as I\u2019m telling the\ntruff, They lifted that Dude and his bags to the roof. I said \u201cWhat the..?\u201d but\nbefore I could finish, He was inside the house dropping goods with a flourish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Now, I never caught a fella so happy\nand jolly, (He WAS smokin\u2019 a pipe stuffed with what looked like holly!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            He gobbled them cookies and drained\nthe punch bowl, Liberally spiked with some Captain (hey, that\u2019s how I roll.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Then he caught my eye and gave me a\ngrin, So I guess I could take this as a pretty good win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            I watched as he finished the job,\nfelt no danger, Then he took a look around and knelt by the Manger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The room took a glow and a sweet,\nsoft hum, Maybe \u2018twas the angels, (or maybe the rum!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            And turning to me he tapped his\nfedora, Snapped his fingers and opened the door-a,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Dogs came and lifted him into the\nnight, And I heard his deep voice as he flew out of sight\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u201cHey, Man, Merry Christmas, don\u2019t\nworry your head, I left you some Captain, now go back to bed.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Good to his word, the Dude left me a\ncup, Took a deep breath, drained it, and headed on up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Now the craziest part of this\nmidnight fling, Was The Lady beside me slept through the whole thing! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            So I snuggled up cozy, pulled the\ncomforter tight, Be a Good Day tomorrow, and to you A Good Night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
