Trinity Hosts Class 3, District 5 Softball<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

   Trinity Catholic High School is one of 64\nstatewide to host High School Fall Softball districts that begin Oct. 16 and\nend Oct. 18 or 19 Teams that are top seeds usually get a first-round bye and\nwill begin Oct. 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Trinity will host three district games\nincluding the Oct 18 final, 4 p.m. each day. Trinity Softball\/Baseball field is\nlocated behind Christ, Light of the Nations School (Formerly Our Lady of\nLoretto) just east of Trinity on Redman Road. Fifth-seed Trinity plays\nfourth-seed Riverview Gardens Oct. 16. The winner takes on top-seeded McCluer\nOct. 17. The other Oct. 17 game, between second-seeded Jennings and\nthird-seeded Hazelwood East is at Lutheran North, which is collaborating with\nTrinity Catholic. The Class Three, District Five winner hosts the District Six\nwinner in the Oct. 23 Sectional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    CLASS FOUR, DISTRICT FIVE<\/strong> — Parkway Central is hosting Oct. 16-18 or 19 and the pairings\nare n not available at press time. Seedings and pairings meeting should be\ncomplete by Saturday, Oct. 12. Parkway Central and one or two of the\nhigher-seeds are to host games with Parkway Central to likely host the District\nFinal. Hazelwood Central, Hazelwood West and McCluer North joins Pattonville\nand Ritenour for this tournament, with the winner hosting the District Six winner\nin the Oct. 23 Sectional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  CLASS THREE, DISTRICT FOUR<\/strong> — Westminster Christian Academy will be hosting the tournament\nwith games to b played there and one or two higher seeded teams Oct. 16-17 or\n19. Incarnate Word Academy joins Normandy Collaborative, Clayton, Parkway North\nand University City at Westminster. The District champion plays in the Oct. 23\nsectional at the winner of Class Three, District Three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STATE – Quarterfinals\nare Oct. 26 at sites to be determined after sectionals. Semifinals, third-place\nand championships are Nov. 1-2 at Killian Sports Complex, Springfield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   CROSS COUNTRY<\/strong> — Class Four\nDistricts will take place Oct. 26, Districts in Classes One-Three are on Nov.\n2, the same day as Class Four Sectionals, and the State Championships are Nov.\n9 at Gans Creek Recreation Area, across Gans Road from Fr. Tolton Regional\nCatholic High School in Columbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   CLASS FOUR<\/strong> — Hazelwood Central,\nHazelwood East, Hazelwood West, McCluer North and McCluer are in District Two\nat St. Vincent Park, off St. Charles Rock Road, west of Normandy Collaborative,\neast of Pennsylvania Avenue and south of the University of Missouri St. Louis\nSouth Campus. Ladue Horton Watkins is the meet host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   The top four teams and top 30 runners from\nother teams will advance to Sectional One at Parkway Central, Competing against\nDistrict <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0SPANISH LAKE PARK<\/strong> will host a pair of Nov. 2 Districts. Incarnate Academy is one of 16 schools to compete in Class Three, District Two while meet host Lutheran North is among 13 schools, including STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley, in Class Two, District Two. The top two teams and top 15 runners from other teams in each district will advance to State Nov. 9 at Gans Creek. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
