The Night Before Christmas 2018<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Twas the night before Christmas, and good old St. Nick, was feeling all funky\u2026 well, just downright sick.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mrs. C. had the codger all snugged up in bed, as a sinus infection was pounding his head.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She\u2019d made him a toddy, a sure-fire cure, but nothing was helping, a bad sign for sure.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For time was a-rushing, and Christmas was near, no way could he cancel, call-in\u2026 not this year.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The world had great need, especially this season; he\u2019d just have to battle the coughin\u2019 and sneezin\u2019.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And bundle up tight, just fight his way through, for he\u00a0\u00a0 had obligations\u2026 It\u2019s the least he could do.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Soon the toddy was working, in spite of himself, and he dozed off, once placing his mug on the shelf.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It seemed just a moment, while he lay in his bed, there came a great light that beamed down on his head.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A strong voice from somewhere inside of his mind, said \u201cCourage, my Great Saint, for all will be fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cYou have always been generous, for sure you remember, those centuries past at this time each December.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When treasures you showered on all who had need,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 traveling to city and town on your steed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bringing joy and good cheer, to my full service great. So be well, faithful servant, My Birthday can\u2019t wait.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Saint woke with a start, as the light dissipated, \u201cIf that was a dream, it was surely G-rated.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The \u201cG\u201d for The Big Generous Guy in the Sky, who sent us His Child\u2026 \u201cOh my, gotta fly.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His headache no more, feeling strong as a deer, St. Nick jumped right up and cried \u201cChristmas is HERE!\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He threw on his red suit, he ran out the door; Mrs. C was so pleased, but she\u2019d seen this before.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For The Power on High always showed him the way to fulfill all His Promises on this Joyful Day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And she heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight,<\/p>\n
