Throughout the month of August, the Hazelwood School District will celebrate grand re-opening events at Lusher, McCurdy, Jamestown, Barrington, Garrett, Russell and Keeven elementary schools.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

\n

Each of the schools received either new or renovated libraries, classrooms, student services areas and main office. The renovations and improvements were made possible by a $65 million bond initiative approved by voters in 2006.<\/p>\n

The celebrations include remarks from District leaders, ribbon-cuttings, tours of the building and more. The dates and times are:<\/p>\n

August 6\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 5:30 p.m.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Lusher Elementary School, 2015 Mullanphy Road, Florissant.<\/p>\n

6:30 p.m.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 McCurdy Elementary School, 975 Lindsay Lane, Florissant.<\/p>\n
