Games, rides, and booths populated the open field alongside a number of concession stands serving up funnel cakes, pretzels and more.<\/p>\n<p>Returning rides from past Summerfests included the Sky Master, which swayed participants back and forth through the sky as well as the Scrambler.<\/p>\n<p>The black top was home to a wide variety of booths offering prizes ranging from surprise eggs with crocheted characters inside to a brand new 2018 Ford Focus. The \u201cBig Items Booth\u201d allowed a lucky few to win valuable items including a 55-inch flat screen television, hoverboard and Playstation 4 gaming system at the cost of $2 per raffle ticket.<\/p>\n<p>One of the larger craft booths was headed by chairperson Anne Frese, who, for almost a decade, stocked her booth with unusual handmade goods. Everything present was crafted by hand and not purchased in a store. Item included a surprise egg that contained a crocheted character such as Minnie Mouse, a swimming noodle in the shape of a horse, and a sculpture of the Virgin Mary. Frese\u2019s booth strived to offer something for everyone.
