\"hazelwood<\/a><\/strong>In light of the tragedy in Florida, the Hazelwood School District continues to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of students and staff.<\/p>\n

Teachers, staff, and students in the District are trained on district-wide active intruder procedures, school-level emergency and crisis response plans, as well as visitor management protocols and procedures. The District also values the strong partnership with all local police departments that service the school district and assists with addressing critical issues so that students and staff remain in a safe and positive learning environment.<\/p>\n

Also, in an effort to provide another level of safety to our school communities, each school in the district offers a student support tip line for students who want to give information anonymously without fear. In the last year, the anonymous tip line was used 30 times. The \u2018Tip Line\u2019 link on the Hazelwood School District\u2019s website leads to an email link, not a phoneline.
