Recognized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Florissant First Responders Recognized <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For Saving Lives from Recent House Fire<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, March 1 at 11 a.m., Mark Flauter, Deputy Chief of the Florissant Valley Fire Protection will accept $10,000 from ADT Senior Vice President, Joe Nuccio, and State Farm agent Elveeta Mason, for the aid given during a fire at Florissant homeowner Tabitha Taylor\u2019s house.<\/p>\n<p>It was a horrifying sight as Taylor and her family awoke to find a fire in their Florissant home. Tabitha activated the home\u2019s security system, which alerted first responders. They quickly arrived and battled the blaze. While the home was damaged, it was not burned to the ground and many irreplaceable possessions were spared, along with Tabitha\u2019s life and the lives of her children.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor wants to publicly thank first responders for their live-saving work.
