Florissant is offering free tax preparation to senior citizens with a total income under $45,000. The service is provided by AARP and CORP volunteers. The service is open to all seniors; you do not have to be a Florissant resident.<\/p>\n
The Senior Office is taking appointments by calling 839-7604 or 839-7605. Appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays will be completed by AARP volunteers. For an appointment on a Monday, call the CORP office at 615-7447 (beginning Feb. 2.)<\/p>\n
Even if you have not received all of your documents, call for an appointment as tax preparation will not begin until the week of Feb. 2. All returns will be completed at the JFK Center, 315 Howdershell Road (Koch Park.) You must have an appointment. No walk-ins will be accepted.<\/p>\n
