Co-hosts Claire Kellett, meteorologists Matt Chambers and Kent Ehrhardt, of Great Day St. Louis, are coming back to Florissant on Friday, Oct. 7 to do a live show on the front lawn of Florissant\u2019s City Hall. Great Day St. Louis is promoting the 19th Annual Fall Festival, the biggest and best block party in the state.<\/p>\n
The City of Florissant has partnered with KMOV\u2019s Great Day St. Louis for the Fall Festival week of October 3 with the finale being broadcast “Live” on the front lawn of Florissant\u2019s City Hall. Each day, Great Day will have a feature about Florissant.<\/p>\n
The week will kick off with an interesting and informative historical piece by Mayor Thomas P. Schneider. Other features this week will include a look at three well known restaurants, Cuginos, Cannoli\u2019s, and Ruiz. Matt also takes a behind the scenes look at the play “1776” performing all that week at Florissant\u2019s Gary Gaydos Theatre at the Civic Center.<\/p>\n
Local Florissant resident and Musician Dennis Schillago gives the audience a taste of his amazing musical talents that will be on display at the Fall Festival, and you certainly don\u2019t want to miss the golf play between KMOV\u2019s, resident scratch golfer, Kent Ehrhardt and the City of Florissant\u2019s Mayor, Thomas P. Schneider, recorded at The Florissant Golf Club!<\/p>\n
On Thursday\u2019s segment, Matt Chambers will speak with a young millennial family about their love of Florissant and why they choose to live here and raise their young son. On Friday, during Great Day, Fall Festival co-chairs, Karen Goodwin and Diana Weidinger will be on hand to talk about more fantastic entertainment scheduled for the Fall Festival. You\u2019ll get to know a little bit more about the Valley of Flowers Queen and her Court as they carve out some interview time from their busy schedules.<\/p>\n
The group “Bucket List” will give a preview of their upcoming performance at the Fall Festival during Friday\u2019s Great Day broadcast. Also performing on Sunday at Fall Festival will be SSJ Rock and Roll Show Band.<\/p>\n
On Friday, October 7, starting at 9 a.m., the public is invited to enjoy the live show with food and beverages, and take a closer look at some of the classic cars that will be featured on Sunday, October 9 at the Florissant Fall Festival. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n
