An accident reconstruction team with the Florissant Police Department who investigated the scene state that one car had broken down on the road, then the other vehicle struck it from behind. The accident took place near St. Jacques\u2019 intersection with North Lindbergh.<\/p>\n<p>Dezirae was seriously injured and transported to Cardinal Glennon Hospital, where she later died of her injuries. Multiple other people in both vehicles suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Dezirae\u2019s mother, Yaminah Futch, has set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses. The link is: www.gofundme.com\/urcdznnz.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the vehicle that struck the disabled car was arrested and identified as Daniel Meade, 31, of the 1600 block of Naomie in Florissant.
