Ferguson Holds Northern Lights Parade and Holiday Festivities Sunday, Nov. 29<\/h3>\n

Ferguson kicks off the holiday season with a festive market for shopping and Lighted Parade each year the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This year the parade and market will be held Nov. 29 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Victorial Plaza.<\/p>\n

The event allows the whole family to shop for unique gifts and crafts, enjoy free cookies, hot chocolate and music, take part in kids crafts and entertainment and warm up around a toasty bonfire. Kids will enjoy a special appearance from Santa. Everyone will gather to see the giant Christmas tree light up the night sky.<\/p>\n

The schedule of events is as follows:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 2-7 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Holiday market<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 3-6 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Kid\u2019s activities: free trackless train rides, story time with Mrs. Claus, gingerbread house decorating, face painting, balloon creations and holiday entertainment<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 5 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lighted Holiday Parade on S. Florissant Rd.<\/p>\n

5:30 p.m.<\/strong> Free cookies & hot chocolate<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 6 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tree lighting ceremony<\/p>\n

Twilight Christmas House Tour is Dec. 6<\/h3>\n

The Ferguson Twilight Christmas House Tour will be held on Dec. 6 from 3-7 p.m. This very popular Christmas event brings holiday visitors from all parts of Missouri and Illinois to view a nice selection of exceptional homes decked out for Christmas.<\/p>\n

The 2015 tour includes examples of Arts and Crafts bungalows, mid-century moderns and cedar shingled “Capes”.\u00a0 After the tour, stay for dinner at any the city\u2019s fine cafes or restaurants or do a little holiday shopping as well.Most of Ferguson eateries will feature “Tour Day Specials”<\/p>\n

One hundred percent of the tour proceeds are donated to the Ferguson Caring League. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 on tour day. Tickets can be purchased at City Hall, Corner Coffee Shop or Paul\u2019s Market. On Dec. 6, tickets can be purchased from noon until 4 and all tickets and maps will be picked up at Pearce Neikirk and Partners Realtors, 427 S Florissant Rd, Ferguson.<\/p>\n
