Women who serve as the head of household for their families and seek financial assistance to attend school can now obtain applications for the Women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Opportunity Award, presented by Soroptimist International of North St. Louis County.<\/p>\n
The award of $750 may be used offset expenses associated with the effort to attain higher education, including, tuition, books, childcare, carfare or any other education-related expense.<\/p>\n
Eligibility Requirements include: <\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 be a woman as head of household with primary financial responsibility for supporting your family <\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 attend or have been accepted to an undergraduate degree program<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 have financial need<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 be motivated to achieve your education and career goals<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 reside in the St. Louis Metropolitan area<\/p>\n
