The Soldier’s Wish List organization will hold a Christmas for the Troops collection at Mattingly’s in Florissant on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Bring new, unwrapped gifts to Mattingly’s, 8108 N. Lindbergh Blvd. <\/p>\n
Gifts will be wrapped for you as you sign the Christmas card for a soldier who will not be home this year with his\/her family at Christmas. The gifts will be sent Dec. 6.<\/p>\n
The top requested items are:
\n o DVD movies
\n o DVD players
\n o music CDs (all types of music)
\n o hand held games
\n o batteries
\n o white socks (men and women)
\n o twin sheet sets and blankets
\n o body spraysets, body wash sets, lotion sets
\n o skull caps, hand and feet warmers
\n o board games
\n o super soakers
\n o stationary sets
\n o microwaves. <\/p>\n
All items must be new.<\/p>\n
