This is the first plaque to have two people named on it.<\/p>\n<p>Frank and Josephine married in 1943 and opened Korte Hardware, 610 rue St. Francois, in 1946. Devoted to family and faith, they made community service a priority and served as leaders in the fire department, the hospital, the Chamber, historical preservation, St. Ferdinand Shrine, Valley of Flowers, Knights, Rotary, Marygrove, and others.
