As part of a broad-based community engagement process to collect input from stakeholders on the selection of the Ddstrict\u2019s next superintendent, the Ferguson-Florissant School District will hold community forums at each of the district\u2019s three high schools.<\/p>\n
The community input sessions will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tues., Sept. 30 in the McCluer High School Hub; on Wed., Oct. 1 in the McCluer North High School cafeteria; and on Thursday, Oct. 2 in the McCluer South-Berkeley High School auditorium.<\/p>\n
In addition to the three 90-minute-long open forums, the Board of Education is engaging 13 other focus groups over the course of three full days. These groups represent a broad cross-section of the community including parents, teachers, principals, support staff, faith-based leaders, neighborhood and community leaders, government and civic leaders and business leaders.<\/p>\n

\u201cStakeholder engagement is a critical component of the development of the position profile for a superintendent search,\u201d said Michael Hinojosa, senior vice president and lead consultant of PROACT Search, the firm hired by the Ferguson-Florissant Board of Education to conduct the process. \u201cIt provides a valuable opportunity for community feedback to be incorporated directly into the superintendent profile and is used to drive the recruiting and evaluation of candidates.\u201d<\/p>\n
