Mike Gantner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Mike Gantner has been selected as the seventeenth annual Old Jamestown Association Outstanding Citizen.\u00a0\u00a0 The award is made each year to a citizen who has contributed to the quality of life in north St. Louis County.<\/p>\n

Mike has served the North County area in important capacities for many years.\u00a0\u00a0 He has been Chief of the Black Jack Fire Protection District for the past twelve years and will complete forty years with the District later this year.\u00a0\u00a0 He is Chairman of the\u00a0North County Incorporated Board of Directors for 2014 and serves on the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

The Old Jamestown Association is a residents\u2019 association, which was incorporated in 1942.\u00a0 It researches and shares with residents and others the area\u2019s history, unique geological features, and events.\u00a0 It also facilitates communications between residents and the St. Louis County government and neighboring communities.<\/p>\n

The Citizen of the Year Award will be presented at the bi-annual Membership Meeting of the Old Jamestown Association on Thursday, May 1, 2014, 7:30 p.m., at the Black Jack Fire Protection District Administration Center, 5675 North Highway 67.\u00a0 The public is invited.<\/p>\n
