Jon Vogt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jon Vogt, general manager of Catering To You, will be installed as the 2014 chairman of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on April 11 at Norwood Hills Country Club. He is chairman of the Business Showcase event this year.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Vogt, a lifelong resident of North County, attended Hazelwood West High School and Florissant Valley Community College. He currently lives in Florissant with his fianc\u00e9, Ali and their two boys Mason, 5, and Colin, 3.<\/p>\n

Vogt has worked in the catering and event-planning business for 20 years.\u00a0 In 1997, his father, Steve Vogt, started Catering to You.\u00a0 Vogt started as the kitchen manager and has since become a minority partner\u00a0 in their business.<\/p>\n

Vogt and his business have been active members of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce since 1997, and he has served on the Board since 2012. His work has led to several successful fundraisers such as Golf Tournaments, Night of Stars, and Casino Nights.<\/p>\n

As a member of the Florissant Valley Jaycees for 10 years, he and his fellow Jaycees successfully raised money for dozens of local charities. During that time, he held several offices including president; that year he led the chapter to earn multiple region and state awards. He was also awarded The Presidential Award of Honor from the Missouri Jaycees.\u00a0 For his work with the Jaycees and Catering to You, he was awarded NCI’s Top 30 Leaders in their 30\u2019s award in 2007.<\/p>\n

He currently sits on the Board for T.E.A.M., a food\u00a0pantry that serves the Florissant and Hazelwood communities. He is also a member of the Florissant Valley Jaycees Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to high school seniors that excel in community service.<\/p>\n

“I look forward to working with all the businesses,\u00a0organizations and city members that we represent,\u201d he said. \u201cI want to help reinforce the benefits of the chamber and to provide even more tools so all of our members can become ambassadors for this community.\u201d<\/p>\n
