Valley of Flowers Activities\u00a0<\/b>Applications now Available<\/b><\/p>\n
Since its start in 1963, the Valley of Flowers festival has grown to include dozens of events.\u00a0 This year Florissant, Missouri celebrates the first Festival of spring on May 2, 3, and 4.\u00a0\u00a0 The theme is \u201cValley of Flowers Celebrates St. Louis\u2019 250th\u00a0 Birthday\u201d for 2014.<\/p>\n
Applications for the 2014 Valley of Flowers parade, craft fair, flea market, food and game\u00a0 booths are now available.\u00a0 They may be picked up at the Valley of Flowers office, 601 rue St.\u00a0 Charles, Florissant MO 63031.\u00a0 Applications are also available by request to 314-837-0033 via\u00a0 mail, email or fax or download from the website at www.florissantvalleyofflowers.com.<\/p>\n
The parade will be held on Sunday, May 4. Parade applicants do not have to be a\u00a0 Florissant resident or business to participate in the parade and there is no entry fee.\u00a0 Parade\u00a0 units are strongly encouraged to decorate their entries using any form of St. Louis\u2019 landmarks\u00a0 or a highlight from its 250 years.<\/p>\n
Craft Fair, Flea Market and Food Booths at the James J. Eagan Center are for Friday, May 2\u00a0 and Saturday, May 3 and cost $50 per space.\u00a0 The Craft Fair is on the covered Ice Rink\u00a0 Pavilion and the Flea Market is inside the building.\u00a0 All food booths are grouped together in the\u00a0 Food Tent on the grounds.<\/p>\n
Food and game booth at the Knights of Columbus grounds are for Friday, May 2, through\u00a0 Sunday, May 4 and cost $125 per space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
