There is currently a BP station on the site.<\/p>\n<p>The final reading and approval on the bill was postponed several times at the request of CVS. After a previous meeting, Mayor Tom Schneider said that CVS was waiting for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to complete a traffic study that could affect the area.<\/p>\n<p>Councilwoman Jackie Pagano has recused herself from all discussion and voting on the project because she and her husband own Joe\u2019s Auto Mart, next door to the CVS site.<\/p>\n<p>The approval states that construction must start within 120 days.<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b>In other matters<\/b> at last week\u2019s meeting, the council held a public\u00a0hearing regarding a request to\u00a0change an existing shopping center sign at Florissant Plaza. Florissant Plaza is the center on Lindbergh that contains Honey Baked Ham. Michaels and PetsMart recently moved out of the center to a new location a few miles away in the city on N. Lindbergh.<\/p>\n<p>Councilman John Grib said that he had no problems with the requested changes. The center owners want to add a small arch to the top of the existing sign to make it match changes they have made to the buildings. It would add two feet to the sign.
