The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Bowlign for Scholarship Dollars competition on Aug. 7 at AMF Dick Weber Lanes in Florissant.<\/p>\n
The even was a success, as 129 bowlers helped raise over $5,000 for the chamber\u2019s scholarship fund. The proceeds are used to award scholarships to high school seniors who live in the Chamber\u2019s service area. To date, the Chamber has awarded $46,000 in scholarships.<\/p>\n
For the second year in a row, team ITS Computers bowled their way to first place, beating out 21 other teams. The team from Neighbors Credit Union proudly stepped up to the alley to accept their last-place trophies.<\/p>\n
The Partners in Education Committee and the Chamber wants to thank everyone who helped make this event a success.<\/p>\n
