The Spanish Lake Community Association will host\u00a0its Spring Town Hall Meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.\u00a0on April 8, 2013, at Trinity High School, 1720 Redman\u00a0Road. The meeting will feature performances from\u00a0students attending Hazelwood School District (HSD)\u00a0schools.<\/p>\n
Dr. Grayling Tobias, new superintendent of HSD, will\u00a0provide a school district update and then introduce\u00a0student talent from schools located within the Spanish\u00a0Lake area. \u201cI appreciate the invitation extended to HSD\u00a0by the Spanish Lake Community Association,\u201d Dr. Tobias\u00a0said. \u201cWe have many talented students within our\u00a0schools and I am excited about sharing this talent with\u00a0our community in Spanish Lake.\u201d<\/p>\n
The orchestras at Hazelwood East Middle School\u00a0(HEMS) and Hazelwood Southeast Middle School\u00a0(HSEMS) will perform together, under the direction of\u00a0Annah Harting. In addition, the combined HEMS and\u00a0HSEMS choirs, directed by Amy Smick, will perform.<\/p>\n
The meeting will also feature entertainment by the\u00a0SEMS band, under the direction of Andrew Pulliam.\u00a0The Larimore Elementary School Drum Line, under the\u00a0direction of Jacqueline Hooker, will perform a few energizing\u00a0numbers at the meeting. The Drum Line has\u00a0performed at a number of venues, including the Bands\u00a0of America Super Regional Championship at the Edward\u00a0Jones Dome last fall.<\/p>\n
