– Saint Louis County released its 2023 Annual Report, highlighting the exemplary work and achievements of local

government employees.

“This report underscores the dedication and commitment of our Saint Louis County

workforce in fostering economic growth, revitalizing communities, and ensuring the well- being of residents throughout the region,” said County Executive Dr. Sam Page.

The 2023 Annual Report showcases several notable accomplishments, demonstrating the county’s steadfast efforts in driving progress and prosperity while facing budget challenges.

   Here are a few highlights:

  • Crews spent much of 2023 building two new police precincts, both scheduled to

open this year.

  • For the first time in 40 years, Saint Louis County is creating a new Comprehensive

Plan that will guide us in developing sustainable and thriving communities.

  • Demolition began on the long-vacant Jamestown Mall to ready the 140 acres for

an exciting new development that will enhance the community and bring tax

revenue into the County. Work is progressing nicely and should be completed this

summer.

“   The release of the 2023 Annual Report serves as a testament to the partnership between local government, our partners, and other stakeholders in driving positive change and shaping Saint Louis County as Opportunity Central,” said Dr. Page.
